Augusta County Sheriff’s Office Seeking Runaway Girl

VERONA, Va. — The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to keep an eye out for a runaway juvenile who went missing last evening.

Sheriff Donald Smith said in a release that 17-year-old Jasmine Lisa Kay Smith was last seen around 5 o’clock in Fishersville.

She’s described as a 5’6″, 125-pound black female. The girl was known to be wearing a cross necklace, a tie-dye shirt, grey sweatpants, and blue Crocs as shoes.

Online commenters claim to have spotted Smith at the Staunton Walmart around 6 o’clock last night.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office as soon as possible.
