Score: Bridgewater 2, Catholic 0
Records: Bridgewater 1-4, Catholic 0-4

How It Happened
• Bridgewater opened the game on the offensive in front of an energetic crowd at the Jopson Athletic Complex. Kylie Amberger put a shot on target just under five minutes in, but her effort was turned aside. BC had another opportunity just over the 10 minute-mark as Carynn Klingler had her shot saved and Kiley Parker ripped he rebound just wide of the cage. Catholic pout a shot on frame as they flipped the field, but a save by Ashley Nau kept the game scoreless. Lexi Francis had BC’s final chance of the period, but she was up-ended by the Cardinals’ keeper on her attempt.
• BC continued to roll as Maylynn Watson put a shot on target early in the second quarter, but the Cardinals kept it out of the cage. Catholic flipped the field, but a turnover flipped the field back in favor of the Eagles. Mollie Best led the push and had two shots saved before her third effort found the back of the net to make it 1-0 for the Eagles five minutes into the second stanza. Catholic pushed for a rebound score and had multiple penalty corners throughout the frame, but did not register a shot on goal from ny of the chances as BC maintained a 1-0 lead at the intermission.
• The Eagles pushed for an insurance goal out of the gate as Francis had another shot turned away by the Cardinals as she found the turf. BC had a series on penalty corners that followed, but the Eagles could not break through after multiple shots missed the target.
• Catholic had a look to tie the game with under seven minutes to play on a penalty corner, but a save by Madelyn Miller kept the lead. BC had a penalty stroke shortly after, but a leaping save by the Cardinals kept the gap at just a score. Catholic looked to tie the game with a trifecta of shots in tight, but a pair of saves by Miller and a defensive save by Destiny Joseph on the goal line kept the advantage. BC added an insurance goal in the final 60 seconds as Kylie Amberger found Autumn Just on the back post for the tip-in goal to seal the deal.
