BRIDGEWATER, Va. (BC Athletics) – Ian Browne of the Bridgewater College Football team has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference’s Offensive Player of the Week after his performance in the Eagles’ season opener against Stevenson.

Browne accounted for BC’s first three scores on Saturday. Browne put the Eagles on the board first as a reverse handoff led to the senior wide receiver rushing into the endzone for a touchdown. The Maryland native added two more touchdown receptions to his tally to go along with 123 yards receiving, led by a 50-yard touchdown grab.

The senior’s 10 receptions on Saturday ties him for the seventh most in program history in a single game.
