Shenandoah Valley Weather: Another very hot day Thursday!

HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – High pressure will build east, into the Mid Atlantic area, today and Thursday. This hot air mass will cause temperatures to soar into the mid and upper 90’s both days. Combined with the increase in humidity, it will feel more like 100 to 105 degrees. The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for both days. Temperatures will drop to the low 90’s Friday and most likely will be in the 80’s for the upcoming weekend.

Saturday: humid with considerable cloudiness; an afternoon thunderstorm in the area. Storms can bring flooding downpours and localized damaging wind gusts. High 85. Winds west southwest 6-12 mph.
